200 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training

Kundalini Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training

Kundalini names the primordial source of energy within each of us—the inner power that enlivens all experience. If prāṇa is life force, Kundalini is life in her fullness: the cosmic source of creation and the beauty we recognise in the world. Kundalini Yoga is the path where we allow this potential to awaken, rise from its root, and unfold toward its highest expression. The practice is dynamic and often brings deep joy and a clearer sense of who you are.

The word comes from kuṇḍala—“coil.” In tantric imagery, Kundalini is often described as serpent power resting at the base, waiting to be awakened. With sincere practice, old patterns can loosen and awareness can widen. The sādhaka of Kundalini Yoga can meet life with more freedom and less strain, while feeling more connected to pure being.

200 Hours of Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India

This 200-hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh is shaped from tantric and Kundalini kriyā traditions. The aim is to offer original concepts and practices that help you recognise and steady that dynamic potential within.

You will work with Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and tantra as transmitted through scripture and living teaching—guided from foundational work toward more advanced practice. The programme includes Kundalini kriyās, āsanas, prāṇāyāma, cleansing kriyās, mantra, dhāraṇā, and dynamic meditations for a full-spectrum training.

In Rishikesh you have space to deepen awareness and mindfulness of the subtle, energetic dimension of your experience. Mentorship is led under Acharya Vinay, who has devoted a major part of life to mantra sādhanā and Kundalini kriyā. The course honours traditional principles, daily sanctity of practice, and direct orientation into the tantric and yogic streams of Kundalini—not only a paper certificate, but serious engagement with the lineage.

The Ascending Route of Kundalini

Kuṇḍalinī is described as divine energy resting at Mūlādhāra. Through kriyā and will, practice can arouse this power so it moves upward, touching and clarifying six major centres along the way.

Mūlādhāra chakra

The base of bodily and mental manifestation. Traditionally associated with the pelvic floor region, it is linked with earth and the foundations that sustain life. Kuṇḍalinī is said to rest here until practice and resolve begin the upward journey.

Svādhiṣṭhāna chakra

Above the root, this centre is associated with creative and reproductive energy, desire, and continuity of life. When balanced, many students feel greater ease and clarity in relationships and emotional life.

Maṇipūra chakra

Often called the power centre—strength, courage, vitality, and digestion. Behind the navel along the spine, it connects with assimilation of food and prāṇa, confidence, and clarity of sight.

Anāhata chakra

In the heart space: feeling, belonging, love, and compassion. Opening here is associated with warmth, connection, and refined emotional qualities.

Viśuddhi chakra

At the throat: creativity, speech, and purity of expression. Activation is linked with clear voice, balanced mind, and sensitivity to others.

Ājñā chakra

The command centre behind the eyebrow centre—“third eye”—subtle perception and integration of prāṇic forces. Traditionally associated with insight and disciplined inner vision, as symbolised in Śiva’s third eye.

Sahasrāra chakra

The thousand-petalled centre: rest as pure awareness, deep samādhi, and freedom. Kuṇḍalinī’s ascent is described as culminating here under wise guidance.

A gurukul is a home where you live and study with your teachers. Jeevmoksha has created a space in the Himalayas to learn ancient sciences of life and spirit in the presence of capable gurus and faculty. The atmosphere is built from the energy and blessings of masters; daily life—from meals to intensive practice—is held as one yogic household.
