Yoga teacher training — practice and Himalayan setting at Jeevmoksha Yoga Rishikesh

200 hours yoga teacher training in Rishikesh

Jeevmoksha Yoga 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh is accredited and certified by Yoga Alliance USA. On completing the course you will be eligible to teach yoga as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Yoga Alliance certification allows you to teach worldwide. The certificate confirms that you have successfully met the minimum standards of yoga teacher training.

What is the first thought when you consider starting a yoga routine? For many of us it is "joining a 200-hour yoga teacher training course." Or you have been practising for a while and want a boost—again, a 200-hour YTTC often comes to mind. This course is so popular worldwide that it has become almost synonymous with serious yoga study.

At Jeevmoksha Yoga Gurukul you will find a strong place to begin or deepen your journey with the 200-hour YTTC. This training follows traditional Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga of Patanjali. Hatha represents the solar and lunar forces in the body; yoga aims to balance them. Practice brings intelligent awareness into the body—understanding movement patterns and correcting imbalances in flexion and extension. Holding asanas gives time to feel deeply and, with awareness, refine effort toward balance.

Our breath becomes the bridge in this process. Breath guides awareness into the target area; with prana, healing and transformation can unfold together.

This course is accredited with Yoga Alliance; graduates can register toward continuing education and future progression toward the 500-hour level.
